In a recent conversation we were invited to be part of, software obsolescence was mentioned. The speaker said; “Software obsolescence, cyber security vulnerabilities, evolving assurance requirements and regulatory expectations are becoming just as significant, particularly where unsupported software or ageing hardware creates security or compliance risks.”

The piece, which is yet to be published, invited us to contribute our thoughts around obsolescence management. Like Technologies are in a unique position to provide obsolescence support for both hardware and software.

Simulations are used across many different industries and sectors, often for training purposes. But in industries such as nuclear, they can be vital for testing purposes as well.
