£5K Raised for North West Air Ambulance Charity!

Did we tell you that we raised £2322.35 from our quiz night at Lancaster Brewery in February this year? Each financial year Like Technologies chooses a charity partner and for 2022/23 it was North West Air Ambulance Charity.

Over the past (financial) year we’ve taken part in the cross bay walk, ran a virtual marathon, hosted a quiz night and satisfied that sweet tooth craving with a tuck shop and bake sales. Our aim was to raise £2500 and with an additional company donation, we’ve raised £5000!

Taking some time out to thank us personally, two of the crew visited us with one of the rapid response vehicles. Steve Miller, a critical care paramedic talked us through their vital pieces of kit including the LUCAS 3 device – the device is able to deliver consistent, high-quality CPR chest compressions whilst the patient is on their journey to hospital.
